Snowflakes fall on black umbrellas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Grey stones dot the field.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tears fall frozen to the ground,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Relief my heart won’t yield.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I look upon the cheerful white of snowflakes falling merry,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dancing down from the sky as if they have no worry.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I look up at the clouds so light with scattered sunlight shining,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And wonder why they don’t turn dark and start their heartfelt crying.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Why do they not turn dark and rain down heaven’s tears?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Why do they not hide the sun as it cruelly leers?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Icy claws squeeze my heart and it’s not from the cold.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I wish I could once again my dear loved one hold.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And when the bugle played it’s song,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Even the strongest could not stay strong.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Why don’t the clouds turn dark and rain down heaven’s tears?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Is it to much to ask that they hide the sun that leers?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then the coffin is lowered, and covered with soft dirt,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I truly didn’t think that this much one could hurt.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I look up at the too bright sky, <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Asking it one question,\u201cWhy?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Why did this have to happen to one who for us always fears?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
