Could’ve…

Psalm 18:1-3

The LORD has saved us from many a situation, and we don’t even realize it. How many times have you said, “That could have gone badly.”? It probably would have if the LORD wasn’t watching over you.  He does so much for us and half the time I don’t think we notice.

Dear LORD,

Please help us to appreciate everything You have done for us. Help us to count our blessings and always know that we have a refuge in You. “I Love You, LORD my strength.”

Amen

    • Well, Ally, that’s a good question, and the answer is different for every person. God gave us each a very special purpose in life, and sometimes it is difficult to discover what that purpose is. We were all called to follow Jesus, or be His disciple, and to do that means to spend time with Him. The more time I spend reading my Bible, and praying, the clearer my calling has become. Sometimes it helps to pay attention to what our talents are. My best talent that I was blessed with was writing, so for me doing God’s will is writing about Him so that people can better understand Him. I stink at music, but people who are good at it can write songs about Him, songs that praise Him, and songs that bring others to Him. It really depends on what YOU are good at. Reading the Bible is also a good way to discover your purpose, there are so many passages of instruction, a lot of which can be found in a book of the gospel. I like the book of John, and I’ve read through all of it. Now I feel I have a better understanding of what God wants me to do.
