Praise is Thanks
Psalm 9:1
God has made so many wonderful things. Many, many wonderful things. It is so important that we praise Him! Mainly because He deserves it! There are many ways to praise Him, and many things to praise Him about. One way to praise is to pray. Just pray to tell God what a wonderful job He did.
Let’s say somebody cleaned the kitchen, you tell them what a good job they did. THAT is praising them for doing a good job! When you tell somebody they did a good job, you are sorting of thanking them for doing a good job, therefore; praise is thanks.
Now it is just as important to thank God for what He has done as it is to praise Him. So, praying and thanking and praising are something you should focus on.
Hum I never thought of it that way before. I guess it makes sense. How did you start to think of praise as thanks?
I guess it dawned on me one morning when I was doing my Bible study.
